5.5 Replacing a pressure sensor in the pipe system
1. Ensure that the fixture tap between the pipe system
measuring tube and pressure sensor is closed.
2. Dismantle the wiring connections to the pressure sensor, and
replace the sensor with a new pressure sensor. Remember to
wrap packing yarn around the threads of the pressure sensor
before installing it.
3. Install the pressure sensor wires, and open the fixture tap.
4. Check that the sensor has been connected correctly without
leakage.
5.6 Replacing a temperature sensor
1. Loosen the temperature sensor locking screw.
2. Remove the temperature sensor.
3. Dismantle the wiring connections to the temperature sensor.
4. Install the new temperature sensor.
5. Install the wiring connections to the new temperature sensor.

6. Taking the product out of operation
6.1 The pit is removed from the hole
1. Close the main supply valves.
2. Drain the system of district heating water.
3. Disconnect the power from the distribution supply board.
4. Disconnect and remove the supply pipes to the pit.
5. Ensure that soil is removed down to the base plate of the pit.
6. Disconnect the pit from the district heating pipes.
7. Lift the pit out of the hole.
8. Ensure that open pipes are sealed.
9. Ensure that the hole is covered with soil and re-establish the
area.
6.2 The pit remains in the hole
1. Close the main supply valves.
2. Drain the system of district heating water.
3. Disconnect the power from the distribution supply board.
4. Disconnect and remove the supply pipes to the pit.
5. Disconnect the pit from the district heating pipes.
6. Ensure that open pipes are sealed.
7. Fill the pit with sand.
8. Ensure that the hole is covered with soil and re-establish the
area.
7. Disposing of the product
This product or parts of it must be disposed of in an
environmentally sound way:
1. Use the public or private waste collection service.
2. If this is not possible, contact the nearest Grundfos company
or service workshop.
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbol on a product
means that it must be disposed of separately from
household waste. When a product marked with this
symbol reaches its end of life, take it to a collection
point designated by the local waste disposal
authorities. The separate collection and recycling of such
products will help protect the environment and human health.
– Ensure that the cover is properly closed. Check
and remove foreign bodies, if any.
– The cover and locking device must be operated
by the same person.
– The cover and locking device must only be used
when no persons are in the pit.
– Damage to the cover must be remedied
immediately. Contact Grundfos.
