9.15 Pump safety functions
The DDI 222 pump is equipped with various safety functions as
standard, which are indicated by the following indicators and
behaviour of the pump.

display.
The error signal relay
switches on.
Restart after error
confirmation and
pressing the "Start/Stop"
button.
Pressure control (can be
switched on and off).
When the pressure
control function is
switched on: Excess
pressure in the dosing
head (with pressure
sensor) or motor power
consumption too high.
The pump stops after 3
strokes. An attempt to
restart automatically is
made every 10 minutes
up to 5 times with an
increasing number of
strokes.
The LED flashes
red/green.
"ERROR" and "bar" flash
in the display.

confirmation and
pressing the "Start/Stop"
button, or on an
automatic restart attempt.
Diaphragm leakage
detection (optional).
Diaphragm leakage.
The pump starts running
again (in emergency
mode).
