it is not admissible to fill in drinking water prior to the start of the des-
ignated operation.
Therefore, the water softener may only be connected to the drinking
water supply immediately prior to start-up.
Make the waste water connection according to DIN EN 1717. In order
to do so, shorten the rinsing water hose to the required length and di-
rect it to the drain.
Make sure there is a free outlet (min. 20 mm) to the drain. Fasten the
hose with appropriate means in order to prevent the hose from wag-
ging (emerging regeneration water is under pressure).

Attention!
Risk of damage and malfunctions due to back pressure of
waste water. Do not bend the hose.
Shorten the overflow hose of the brine tank to the required length, route
it descending to the drain and fasten it according to DIN EN 1717.
