To reduce risk of serious injury when using this machine:
1. Read and understand owner’s manual before operating.
2. Never touch moving blade and always keep hands out of cutting path.
3. Always wear approved eye protection and respirator.
4. Properly ground machine—connect to permanently grounded metal wiring
system or an equipment-grounding conductor.
5. Use blade guard and riving knife for all cuts.
6. Only use blades meeting size/speed requirements for this saw.
7. Ensure riving knife, fence, and scoring blade are properly adjusted and parallel
with main blade.
8. Ensure machine is stable.
9. Never reach behind or over blade while it is moving.
10. Use a push stick when required and whenever possible.
11. Know what causes “kickback” and how to prevent it.
12. Never remove jammed/cutoff workpiece when blade is moving!
13. Make sure blade is stopped before adjusting blade height/tilt.
14. Do not perform any operation freehand.
15. Disconnect power before changing blades or servicing saw.
16. Plan cuts so workpieces always remain supported.
17. Do not wear loose clothing, gloves, jewelry, or other items that can get entangled. Tie
back long hair and roll up long sleeves.
18. Do not expose to rain or operate in a wet environment.
19. Prevent unauthorized use by children or untrained users; restrict access or
disable machine when unattended.
