10.5 Electronic ballast control panel
The electronic ballast is fitted with a display to monitor the operating parameters.
The synoptic panel is formed by:

In particular:
The display allows the visualization of the various menu, of
the machine parameters and of the measurements done.
The LEDs on stand for:
LINE
green LED presence of input voltage
MAN
yellow LED MAN mode active
PROG
yellow LED PROG mode and remote controls
active
ALARM
red LED presence of active alarms
By pushing the key “ESC” the following values will be visualized in sequence:
• output amperage
• output power (disabled if the lamp is off)
• output voltage (disabled if the lamp is off)
• operating temperature (disabled if the lamp is off)
• lamp working hours
The electronic ballast is fitted with protections against overtemperature and overload.
If the maximum power admissible is overcome:
• the lamp will not turn off
• in the lower line the display will read:
e 1
• the alarm LED will turn on
• the rectifier will control the current to limit the output power
To reset it is necessary to turn the unit off.
In case of overtemperature:
• in the lower line the display will read:
e 2
• the lamp will turn off after 90 seconds
• the alarm LED will remain on.
• push OK to reset (the display will be set to zero, the alarm LED will turn off)
• push the key OK one more time to turn the lamp on again.
10.6 Switching off the unit
Follow these instructions to switch off the unit:
• Before disconnecting the device, turn the lamp off through the DMX controller and then wait for 5 minutes the
fixture cooling.
• Turn off the main switch on the ballast unit
An internal temperature sensor prevents the unit from overheating. The thermal sensor operates by removing volt-
age to the lamp if the ambient temperature exceeds the one allowed.
If the lamp turns off, let the fixture cool down, check that the air vents above the cooling fans are not obstructed
and that the fans are working correctly.
