Alternatively, the Safety Brake can be wired directly into the Encoder (on the operator side) as shown below:
Note: Wire Safety Brake Switch in series with existing switches.
5.7.8 INSTALLING AN EMERGENCY INPUT LINK WIRE IF NOT USING A SAFETY BRAKE
It is recommended that an External Brake is installed on all
Chain Drive installations.
CAUTION
Power terminals L1, L2, L3 are spring terminal type.
Care must be taken to ensure loose wire strands are not left
outside of the terminal.
5.7.9 FERRITE INSTALLATION
The controller is supplied with four ferrites that must be installed to reduce EMC interference.
