1.3. How to change the password 

The following methods to change passwords are applicable to: 

 

Lagard(LG) mechanical combination lock 1 

 

NL Lock mechanical combination lock 1

The procedure of changing the password: 

(1)

 

Firstly  open  the  safe  door  with  the  original  password  according  to  the  unlocking 

instructions. 

(2)

 

With  the  safe  door  open,  perform  above  procedure  again,  but  use  the  changing  index 

instead of opening index. 

(3)

 

Insert the change key in the key hole (in  the back of the safe door), then turn it 1/4  turns 

clockwise; and keep the key inside temporarily. 

(4)

 

Perform  the  unlocking  instructions  once  again  with  the  new  password  on  the  changing 

Index. 

(5)

 

Turn the change key 1/4 turns counterclockwise, then remove the key. 

(6)

 

Before closing the safe door, try the new password at least 10 times on the opening index. 

For example the new password is 20-30-40, the safe door should be unlocked successfully 

at 19.5-29.5-39.5 or 20.5-30.5-40.5.

Close the safe door according to the locking instructions, then store save the new password 

at a safe place. 

Note: 

(1)

 

Do  not  set  the  last  number  of  password  larger  than  95  or  smaller  than  20  ,which  is  the 

forbidden zone.
