Scorpion 4, 6 and 8
It is the responsibility of the Operator / User to comply with the
Road Traffic Act. If the tool cannot be placed in compliance with
the Road Traffic Act, the tool must be disconnected and transported separately on a
trailer.
When the arm is in the transport position, all cylinders are secured by turning the 4
handles downwards into the locked
position.
•
The outer top valve always blocks
cylinder 3 (in and out movement)
•
The outer bottom valve blocks
either cylinder 5 or the rotor
cylinder (for tilting the tool)
•
The inner top valve always blocks
cylinder 1 (for rotating the arm)
•
The inner bottom valve blocks
cylinder 2 (for lifting and down)
Turn off the PTO on your vehicle, and then
turn off the Control Panel by pressing
the diode is turned off to indicate that
operation mode is off.
Initial start-up and driving with the tools
Procedure for getting the boom mower in working position
1. Turn on the boom mower - press (the diode lights up)
2. All transport locks must be in the open
position (all ball valves must be in a
horizontal position)
No persons or animals are allowed in the entire working area of
the mower!
3. Start the PTO shaft while the vehicle is idling
