Problem solving
Problem Cause Solution
Valve or Motor
leak
Too high return oil pressure Check the oil pressure. Free to
tank. Change washer.
Too high leak oil pressure Check the oil pressure. Free to
tank. Change washer.
Return hose not correctly mounted
or has fallen of Install correctly or reinstall. Change
seals and/or alu lid on the valve.
Incorrect tool speed Test RPM on tool.
Wrong oil level Check oil level
Overheating Wrong oil type Empty the tank and refill with correct
oil type.
Blockage of blades Remove cuttings/debrees.
Air temperature is too high Install a hydraulic cooler. Reduce
operating speed.
Electrical failure
Wrong supply from tractor Check the security fuse and
connections from your tractor /
telehandler.
Contacts have been exposed to
water The machine should be stored
under a roof or covered up.
Hydraulic failure
Oil level too low Refill with oil to the correct level.
Pressure hose is broken Check that the pump rotates
Oil leak in pressure hose Check machine for leaks
Oil pump filter is blocked Replace the filter element
Irregular arm
movements Broken spring in the valve Check the spring
Defective seals in hydraulic cylinder Hydraulic ram repair
Electrically
operated valve is
not responding
Defektive wiring Check the wiring and switches
Dirt in valve Check for ingress of dirt.
Valve stuck Replace the valve
Insufficient voltage Check for loose connections.
