The system is designed for maritime SO2 scrubber wash
water containing seawater, polluted seawater, freshwater
with NaOH, residue particles from HFO combustion, and
salts (Na2SO4 etc.).
Chemical capability and material lifetime depend on a
combination of local factors such as temperature, acidity,
oxygen, and oil among others. Therefore, always consult a
chemical compatibility database with reference to each of
the materials.
