1 OVERVIEW
VRF Monitoring System is a solution for air conditioner automation centralized management based
on local area network or internet, which decreases manpower input and saves unit management cost.
The user can conduct management operations such as check operation status of air conditioner, unit
ON/OFF, temperature setting etc. in any locations that connect to the centralized control system through
browser (Chrome, Firefox, IE) only.

1.2 Network Topology
VRF Monitoring System relies on gateway (model: FE22-41/BEF(MCB)) to communicate with
software. The software, gateways, electric meter and air conditioning units are combined into a system
network. See the following figure.
The network is composed of four parts:
1) VRF Monitoring System: it serves as the interface of the monitor network installed on PC.
2) Gateway: it serves to bridge air conditioning unit network with the monitor network and transmit
data between the networks.
3) Air conditioning unit network.
4) Electric meter: it serves to record units wasting power.
