Lift Cylinder Bleeding
Refer to Figure 124
1. Unfold and lower planter.
2. Remove the pins from the rod ends of all lift
cylinders. Position lift cylinders so that rod ends can
extend without striking machine parts.
3. Loosen the JIC fittings at the base end of each
master lift cylinder.
4. Extend the circuit until fluid appears at the loosened
fittings. Set circuit to Neutral and secure fittings.
5. Loosen the JIC fittings at the base end of each
slave lift cylinder.
6. Extend the circuit until fluid appears at the loosened
fittings. Set circuit to Neutral and secure fittings.
7. Install the pins at the rod ends of all lift cylinders.
Fold Cylinder Bleeding
Refer to Figure 125
1. Begin with planter raised and lift cylinder locks
installed.
2. Remove the pins from the rod ends of the fold
cylinders. Orient fold cylinders so that rod ends can
extend without striking planter parts.
3. Loosen the JIC fittings , at the base end of all
fold cylinders.
4. Extend the circuit until fluid appears at the loosened
fittings. Set circuit to Neutral and secure fittings.
5. Loosen the JIC fittings , at the rod end of all fold
cylinders.
6. Retract the circuit until fluid appears at all fittings. Set
circuit to neutral and secure fittings.
7. Extend the fold cylinders and install the pins at the
rod ends of the fold cylinders.
