Pin Assignments
RS 422/485 Port
There are 8 RS485 ports that can be used for Machine Control of various
devices, or for switcher control by an external controller.
RS 232 Port
There is an RS232 serial port, a keyboard port, and a VGA video output
located on front of the Controller Board. These ports are used for diagnos-
tics. If you need to use these ports to diagnose problems with the Kayak HD
switcher, please contact your Grass Valley Customer Service Representa-
tive.
