LCD Hardware Installation

This section describes hardware installation procedures for the LCD series 
hardware panels.

Rack Mounting

Jupiter LCD panels mount into a standard 19 inch equipment rack. Panels 
are 1 or 2 rack units high.

Power Supplies

Two methods are available for powering the LCD series hardware panels:

•

AC power supply (JUP-ACPS)

•

DC power supply (JUP-DCPS)

The module used is specified at the time of order.

All power modules are auto-sensing (120-240 VAC, 50-60 Hz) and are sup-
plied with a mains power cable appropriate for the user’s geographic loca-
tion. No power switch is present. The AC cord is disconnected to power 
down the panel.

WARNING

Do not connect any external power supply other than the approved “JUP-
DCPS” unit supplied by Thomson Grass Valley.

The AC power supply is contained in a module that mounts on the rear of 
the panel (
