7.2.1 SD/HR Effects Submenu
Use the
SD/HR EFFECTS
submenus to select which effect type is assigned to
a transition for the selected signal source.
The functionality is basically the same for SD and HR (HiRes). Only the
number of available categories and patterns varies.

To assign an effect (see also Making an Effect Transition on page 59):
1. In the Parameter Navigation Area, select the signal (for example,
SD BGND ) that will be affected.
2. In the Parameter Edit Area, select one of the Categories and the effect
Pattern .
Depending on the selected pattern, additional parameter areas are dis-
played which allow you to change specific parameters.
