3 Installing the Printer Driver

3.2 When send the print data via the LAN

Set the IP address and other settings for the LAN connection before connecting the LCX603 via the LAN.
Therefore the IP address have to get from the administrator of network.

The item to set up for the LAN connecting

• DHCP setting
• IP address setting
• Subnetmask setting
• Gateway setting
• MAC address (The MAC address must be used by the administrator of network when the LAN was
protected by the MAC address.)

How to set up for the LAN connecting

(1) Turn on the power for the LCX603.
(2) The following menu is displayed when the media is installed.

Confirm Combination!
H3:xxxxxx H2:xxxxxx
H1:xxxxxx xxxxxxxxx
YES:ENTER

(3) Press the ENTER Key.

DHCP Setting

Set the DHCP setting to "OFF". And have a IP address for the LCX603. The IP address should be
assigned by the administrator of network. The LCX603 will be disconnected from the network when the
DHCP server was released the IP address for device by time sharing setting.
Therefore the fixed IP address had better to be assigned for the LCX603.
(4) Press the LOCAL Key in READY status, the following menu is displayed.

         OUTPUT ALL>

(5) Press the F1 Key (PRINT MENU), the following menu is displayed.

(6) Press the NEXT Key until the following menu is displayed.
