5.21 Setting the Step Pass
Use ths functon when you ntend to cut extremely detaled data. The cuttng data sent from the computer
will be processed in blocks corresponding to the number of steps specified by the STEP PASS function,
thereby ensurng consstent blade control and hgher cuttng qualty.
(1) Press the
[PAUSE] key
to select PAUSE mode.
(2) Press the
[NEXT] key
repeatedly untl the followng menu s dsplayed.

[F2] key
(OPTION1) to dsplay the menu shown below.

[F4] key
(STP PASS) to dsplay the step pass settng screen.

to confirm your selection.

If the STEP PASS settng s set too hgh, the cut shapes may become deformed. The recommended STEP PASS
settng s "STEP PASS= 1".
(5) Press the
[PAUSE] key
to cancel PAUSE mode.
This setting is retained in the plotter's internal memory even while the plotter is turned off.
