. To cancel your settngs, press the
[NEXT] key

Setting the Cutter Blade Type and Offset [OFFSET]
Ths settng enables you to select the type of cutter blade (pen, creasng tool) that you plan to use and then
determnes the requred amount of offset f you selected a cutter blade. Your plotter comes wth a preset offset
value for each cutter blade type, and therefore the approprate offset value s set automatcally when you
select a blade name (09U, 15U, etc.). Further fine adjustment of the offset can also be performed if required.
Offset is the value that is used to compensate for the difference in position between the tip of the cutter blade
mounted in the cutter plunger and the center point of the cutter pen.
(1) Wth the plotter n Ready status, press a key from
[F1]
to
[F4]
to select the COND No. that you wsh to change.
(2) Press the
[CONDITIONS] key

(4) Use the
[ ]

[ ] key
to cycle through the settng parameters. Select the desred cutter blade or tool.
Parameters that can be selected: 09U, 15U, 15UK30, 15-10C, 15-05S, 30U, OTHER, CP002 (roller-type
creaser), CP003 (roller-type creaser), CP001 (pen-type creaser), PEN
Select "OTHER" when you plan to use a cutter blade other than those regstered or when a cuttng operaton usng
a thick or otherwise difficult-to-cut medium produces unsatisfactory results. Select "PEN" when you plan to use a
plottng pen.
If you select "CP-001" and then press the
[ENTER] key
, the Creaser Settngs screen wll be dsplayed. If you select
"CP-002", the Thck Mode Settngs screen wll be dsplayed.
(5) When a blade name (09U, 15U) or "Other" has been selected, fine adjustment of the offset can be performed. Use
the
[ ]
or
[ ] key
to adjust the offset value.
Setting range: Blade name: -5 to +5; Other: 1-99
