5.25 Printing the Self-Test Pattern
The self-test functon enables the plotter to check ts own functons by drawng a self-test pattern.
The pen carriage starts moving as soon as the SELF TEST mode has been selected. To avoid any injury to yourself or
damage to the plotter, keep your hands and other obstacles out of the vicinity of any moving parts.
(1) Load a medum n the plotter.
(2) Mount a plottng pen.
(3) Press the
[PAUSE] key to select PAUSE mode.
(4) Press the [NEXT] key untl the followng menu s dsplayed.

(5) Press the [F4] key (OPTION2) to dsplay the followng menu.

Press the [F2] key (YES) to ntate plottng of the self-test pattern.
Press the [F4] key (NO) to return to the OPTION selecton menu shown n Step (4).
(8) When you have finished plotting the self-test pattern, turn off the plotter to cancel SELF TEST mode.
The self-test pattern s repeatedly plotted untl the plotter s turned off. To dscontnue plottng even f a pattern s not
completely plotted, smply turn off the plotter.
