Ths chapter descrbes the structures and types of the putter plungers (cutter pens).
Cutter Plunger Nomenclature
The plotter cuts usng a cutter blade mounted n a plunger. There are two dfferent plungers to sut the dameter
of the cutter blade to be mounted (the φ0.9 mm cutter plunger is provided as a standard accessory). Be sure to
mount the cutter blade n the correspondng cutter plunger.

Adjusting the Blade Length
Blade length needs to be adjusted to perform optmal cut. Perform few test cuts and set the optmal blade length.
CAUTION
To avod bodly njury, handle cutter blades wth care.
It may result n damagng the cutter blade or the cuttng groove f the blade s extended too much.

Adjust the blade length by turnng the blade-length adjustment knob. Turn the knob n drecton "A" to extend
the blade, or n drecton "B" to retract the blade. When the knob s turned by one scale unt, the blade moves
approxmately 0.1 mm. One full turn of the knob moves the blade approxmately 0.5 mm.
