TOWING
When towing an inflatable behind another boat, always connect the tow line to the bow eyes. If
possible use a double tow line when towing behind another boat. The second line acts as a
backup in case one line breaks or comes undone.
Use a tow line of sufficient length so that there is at least two boat lengths between boats.
Use only line intended for towing, ask your Dealer for advice and select the correct line for your
application (Do not tow with three strand nylon rope).
Fasten the towed boat securely and observe it continuously. Avoid towing a tender over long
distances.
Do not use a tow line with signs of damage or wear. Check tow lines for wear and damage prior to
use.
Always keep hands and feet clear of
tow lines.
Be prepared to cast loose or cut the
tow line if necessary.
Do not tow at high speeds or while
planing.
1.
TOWING MUST BE DONE AT LOW SPEED
(NOT MORE THAN 10 KM/H) AND IN GOOD
WEATER CONDITIONS WITH NO WAVES.
2.
THE BOAT BEING TOWED MUST BE
OBSERVED AT ALL TIMES.
