SAFETY

CHECK FOR FUEL AND GAS VAPOURS OR FUEL LEAKS AT REGULAR INTERVALS AND BEFORE
STARTING THE ENGINE.
HOSES SHOULD BE INSPECTED AT LEAST ANNUALLY AND REPLACED IF ANY DETERIORATION
OR DAMAGE IS FOUND. IF FUEL LEAKAGE IS PRESENT, HAVE THE SYSTEM REPAIRED BEFORE
FURTHER USE. FUEL SYSTEM REPAIRS SHOULD ONLY BE MADE BY COMPETENT PERSONNEL.
WHILE FUELING
Keep hose nozzle in contact with the filler pipe to provide a ground against static sparks.
Fill the tank slowly to avoid danger of spillage.
Do not overfill the tank. Leave some room for the fuel to expand. In hot conditions fill the tank to
about 80% of its maximum capacity.
If fuel is spilt on the hull, use an ordinary, non-abrasive cleaner then wipe with a damp cloth and
rinse the area with clean water.
NEVER FILL ANY FUEL TANK WHEN ENGINE IS RUNNING.
