pump. Ensure that the pump is used as described in the following paragraphs before
use. If you do not understand any part of these warnings, cautions or instructions,
contact a healthcare professional for direction in the use of this product. If the pump
is not properly used, personal injury and/or property damage could result.

INTENDED USE
The Lumex Select Series Convertible Mattress System Pump is designed to aid in the
treatment and prevention of pressure ulcers while optimizing user comfort.
OPERATION
DANGER: DO NOT use the pump in the presence of flammable materials or
chemicals. This could cause an explosion.
DANGER: There are no serviceable parts in the pump. DO NOT attempt to open it;
electric shock could result.
WARNING: Read the user manual included with the mattress system before using the
pump, and refer to it if you have questions about this product's use.
1. Place the pump on a flat horizontal surface or suspend it on the end of bed frame with
the built-in hanger.
