Patient Transfer
1. Release patient safety straps.
2. Transfer patient, following instructions on previous page.
Patient Transfer from a Secondary Device to VIC
Follow the same procedure as in “transferring from VIC to a secondary device” on previous page
except: you must verify that the VIC is positioned so that the patient’s abdomen is in line with the
chair seat before attempting to transfer a patient to the VIC; otherwise tipping may occur.
