1. See Prepare the Gun for Service, page 58 .
2. Remove the air cap and nozzle. See
Air Cap, Spray Tip, and Nozzle Replacement
(Model L60M19), page 60

3. Unscrew the needle (3).
4. Apply low-strength (purple) Loctite® or equivalent
thread sealant to the needle and packing rod
threads. Install the needle finger-tight. Do not
overtighten.
5. Install the fluid nozzle and air cap. See
Air Cap, Spray Tip, and Nozzle Replacement
(Model L60M19), page 60
.
6. See Test Gun Resistance, page 47 .

1. Follow the steps in
Prepare the Gun for Service, page 58 .
2. Remove the air cap and fluid nozzle. See
Air Cap and Nozzle Replacement, page 59 .
3. Remove the electrode. See
Electrode Replacement, page 61 .
4. Loosen the trigger screws (13) and remove the
trigger (12).
5. Remove the packing rod (2), using the multi-tool
(41). Remove the spring (17).
6. Check all parts for wear or damage and replace
if necessary.
