4. Continue filling until the follower plate reaches the
Max label, which is slightly lower than the vent port
NOTE:
The vent port, located in the rear of reservoir,
should not be used as an overfill port/indicator.
5. Remove the fill hose.
Prime the Pump
NOTE:
It is not necessary to prime the pump every time
it is filled with lubricant. The pump only requires priming
the first time it is used or if it is allowed to run dry.
1. Loosen pump element fitting (F
. 11).
NOTE:
When loosening the pump element fitting, do
not loosen the pump element. Loosening the pump ele

ment changes the output volume.
2. Only run the pump until air-free lubricant is dis
-
pensed out of the element fitting (F
. 12).
3. Tighten the pump element fitting using two (2)
wrenches working in opposite directions (F
