► Step the mast.
Make sure that the shrouds, above and
down, do not get tangled.
► Use one hand to press the mast forward,
and hold the lower end of the forestay
with the other hand.
► Hold the forestay under tension and
hook the carabiner to the forward eye of
the bowsprit.
Attention: As long as the forestay is not
securely attached to the bowsprit you
must pull and keep the forestay under
tension, to prevent the mast from falling
backward.
► Hook the endless jib furler to the free eye
of the bowspeit.
► Hang the carabiner from the rubber on
the lug on the trampoline cloth.
► Shackle the foremast
rake on the eddy, on
the sailing head of the
headsail.
