11. Navigation
With the product development, attention was therefore particularly be paid to the GPSeye
IN1 being equipped in a way that the device is compatible to common professional
navigation system or can be made usable by simple adaptations.
The navigation software should be selected with regard to your individual requests as
user and the individual requests of your branch. There are a lot of navigation software
manufacturers who concentrate on these specific markets. In this way there are, for
example, specific solutions for HGVs due to their restricted road use. The GPSoverIP
GmbH and its direct navigation software partners attempt to realize the implementation
of all possibilities being available by GPSoverIP and DATAoverIP into the navigation
software that is suitable to you.
Inform yourself of the progress and the state of the general implementation of GPSoverIP/
DATAoverIP in the respect of navigation software and about possible, already available
alternatives at the GPSoverIP Customer-Service. We are glad to assist you.
Please note:
The navigation system in your GPSeye IN1 is a multiple proven brand product. Please do
not rely on the information blindly in spite of the precise navigation, but orientate yourself
on the current traffic event as up to now. We also refer that the following description
refers only to the Southstream navigation system.
For further information about the navigation software please refer to the respective
documentation of the specific Version.
All navigation software is developed with greatest possible care, incoporates all recent
security guidelines, is thoroughly tested in daily routine and adopted for the GPSeye
IN1. Nonetheless not all theoretical possible handling errors or other dysfunction can be
excluded.
Therefore pay attention to the security advices of the manufacturer of these programs. In
case of questions concerning these programs, please refer to the manufacturers directly.
