8. Installation
Clean the planned mounting surface thoroughly.
5. Moisten the carrier a little bit, for example through breaths, and then fix the
suction-carrier with the GPSeye IN1 on the dry surface through simple turnover of
the carrier lock.
6. The suction-carrier is bent only a little bit in the direction of the driver, avoid
to coarse power by that. The fine alignment of the GPSeye IN1 occurs with the
knurled screw of the suction-carrier.
7. Tighten the screw at the ball head.

The suction-carrier is loosened from the disk by transfer of the carrier lock in reverse
direction. Loose the possibly strong low pressure through pulling at the flap of the sucker.
Certain windshields (for example heat-insulating, heat-able or tinted disks) can generally
interrupt the GPS signal reception. If such interferences occur, please use an exterior
antenna (available separately).
8.1.2. Holder for fixed installation: Tips
The scope of delivery of the device also contains a screwing-carrier for the stationary
fixing of the GPSeye IN1, also refer to see ill.

. The sense of the screwing-carrier is to firmly build the GPSeye
IN1 in your vehicle, for example at the dashboard.
The screwing-carrier installation kit consists of the screwing-carrier, three fixing screws
and the security screw. The GPSeye IN1 can be firmly and securely installed in the
vehicle with the holder for fixed installation. For this proceed as follows:
