6.2.3. Thermometer with Sensor
The optional thermometer consists of a sensor and a preamplifier and is used for the
collecting and sending of temperatures
The temperature ranges are freely adjustable between -50℃ and 200℃. A range which is
also real should be defined since with a range chosen in a too large way the resolution
becomes very rough.
Figure 6.4.: Temperature Sensor
Example: With a measuring range of -50℃ to 200℃ the resolution is 1,0
ř
K per “step”,
with a measuring range of -10℃ to 40℃ the resolution is approx. 0,2
ř
K per “step”.
The preamplifier is connected to the GPSeye IN1 with the power plug. The voltage supply
is connected to the preamplifier (both plugs with bayonet coupling).
