Using the kibbeh insert
Kibbeh is a traditional dish from the Middle East: Fried pockets made with lamb and bul-
gur wheat
fi
lled with minced meat. You can
fi
nd a sample recipe for making kibbeh below:
Preparing the dough pocket
Ingredients:
500 g lamb or fat-free mutton, cut into strips
500 g bulgur wheat, washed and drained
1 small
fi
nely chopped onion
Preparation:
Important
! Always process the bulgur wheat immediately after draining it. Dried bulgur
could overload the mincer and damage it.
1. Place the
fi
ne perforated disc in the mincer (see section “Using the mincer adapter”).
2. Alternate between feeding meat and bulgur through the
fi
ne perforated disc.
3. Mix the meat and bulgur well in a bowl.
4. Run the meat-bulgur mixture through the
fi
ne perforated disc another two times.
5. Add the onion to the mixture and mix everything again.
Preparing the
fi
lling
Ingredients:
400 g lamb, cut into strips
1 TBSP oil
2 medium-sized
fi
nely chopped onions
1 TBSP
fl
our
Salt and pepper
Preparation:
1. Place the
fi
ne perforated disc in the mincer (see section “Using the mincer adapter”).
2. Run the meat through the
fi
ne perforated disc.
3. Fry the onions until golden brown.
4. Add the lamb and sear.
5. Add the remaining ingredients and stew for approximately 2 minutes.
6. Pour out the excess fat and let it cool off.
Preparing kibbeh
1. Place the main unit on a stable,
fl
at surface. Press down the suction feet on the base.
2. Place the mincer adapter and the conveyor spiral in the receptacle on the motor base
as described in the section “Using the mincer adapter”.
3. Place the kibbeh insert (two pieces!) on the opening of the mincer adapter. First place

and then both of them in the receptacle on the motor base.
4. Fix the kibbeh insert in place with the
fi
xing nut. Do not overwind the
fi
xing nut!
5. Place the supply bowl on the
fi
ll chute.
6. Turn on the device by moving the speed selector switch to position

7. Feed the prepared meat-bulgur mixture for the dough pockets into the
fi
ll chute. Use
the plunger to gradually push the mixture through the
fi
ll chute.
ATTENTION Risk of
injury!
Never use your hand or objects other than the enclosed plunger to push foods
into the
fi
ll chute!
