Correct Connection

The device should only be connected to a properly installed socket with earthing con-
tacts. The socket must also be readily accessible after connection. The mains voltage
must be the same as that stated in the technical data of the device. Only use suitable
extension cables whose technical data is the same as that of the device.

Ensure that it is not possible for others to trip over the connected mains cable. Do not
allow the cable to hang over the edge of tables or kitchen counters. Others may become
caught and pull the device down.

Position the cable in such a way that it does not become squashed or bent and does not
come into contact with hot surfaces.
Proper Use

Always check the device for damage before putting it into operation. If the device, cable
or plug shows visible signs of damage, the device must not be used. Do not use the de-
vice if it has malfunctioned or been dropped in water.

If the device, the cable or the mains plug is defective, do not attempt to repair the device
yourself. In the event of any damage, please contact our customer service department
(see the "Customer Service" chapter).

In the event of damage/faults, switch the device off immediately.
❐
The device should only be used and stored out of the reach of children. The mains cable
must also be kept out of the reach of children. Otherwise they might use the cable to
pull the device down on themselves.

Use the device only if it is properly assembled and shows no visible damage.
❐
Do not use any other accessories. Only the accessory parts supplied by the manufacturer
should be used.
❐
Keep hair, hands and other body parts away from rotating parts while using the device!
❐
The device should only be used in closed rooms.
❐
To prevent electric shocks, make sure that the motor unit, the mains cable and the plug
cannot fall into water or other liquids and cannot come into contact with them. Should
the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not attempt to
pull the device out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power!

Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
❐
Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures, wide temperature variations, or
direct sunlight.

Maintain a suf

cient distance from heat sources such as hobs or ovens in order not to
damage the device.

Never operate the device on a stovetop or close to a gas source.
❐
Fruit may only be chopped up if the core/pips have been removed!
❐
Allow heated food to cool down slightly before you use the device.
