Rack
The rack (
3
) should be inserted in the cooking container (
6
) when the device is used in
the classic way so that the air circulation function is not impaired.
A small casserole or baking tin can also be placed on the rack for baking.
Grill Plate
For grilling, place the grill plate (
4
) instead of the rack (
3
) into the cooking container (
6
).
Rotating Spit
The rotating spit (
2
) is suitable for rotary grilling of for example pieces of chicken, skew-
ered meat and roasts. The rotating spit consists of a shaft and two forks.
Assemble the rotating spit and insert it into the device:
PLEASE NOTE!
■
The shaft contains two small round notches which mark the outermost position of the
locking screws. Do not go any further out than this position to ensure that smooth
operation is possible.
■
Do not place any pieces that are too large onto the rotating spit so that it can rotate
without any hindrance.
1. Place the cooking container (
6
) into the main unit (
1
). The rack (
3
) or the grill plate (
4
)
must not be inserted.
2. Slide one fork onto the shaft and lock it with the locking screw.
3. Slide the items to be grilled onto the shaft and then further onto the fork.
4.
Slide the other fork onto the shaft and the items to be grilled and fix with the locking
screw.
5. In the cooking container, there is a holder on the handle side. On the opposite side
there is a round opening, the rotating spit holder (
11
). Plug the shaft end with just one
notch (
Picture E1
) into it.
6. Hook the end with two notches (
Picture E2
) into the holder.
7.
Check that the rotating spit fits securely. It must not be able to rotate about its own
axis when the device is switched off.
After use, remove the hot rotating spit from the cooking container using the removal
tool (
5
) (see the “Removal Tool” section).
Always use oven gloves to remove the forks and take off the grilled items!
Removal Tool
The hot rotating spit is taken out of the cooking container (
6
) using the removal tool (
5
).
1. Place the ends of the removal tool under the rotating spit (
2
).
2. Lift the rotating spit out of the holder.
3. Carefully pull the other end of the rotating spit out of the rotating spit holder (
11
).
