9.2.1 Data direction PLC -> Antenna

In this direction, commands are transmitted only when required (in this system two
commands are implemented; see section 5.2.2.1.2 on page 20). To overcome the fre

-

quent cyclical data output of the antenna, the 3964R of the antenna has a lower pri

-

ority (see Figure 24).

9.3 Procedure „transparent“

For the interconnection antenna <–> PLC a transparent protocol can be used. The
following settings have to be observed for the data transmission:



1 start bit, 8 data bit, parity even, 1 stop bit, Baud rate 9600 Baud (default) or
19200 Baud.

9.3.1 Data direction antenna -> PLC

In this direction, cyclical antenna data is transmitted. The duration is configurable, it
should take an integral part or multiple of the transponder code transmission. The
minimum cycle duration depends upon the telegram length, the Baud rate and the
chosen telegram content.
