The interference level reaches up to 300 units. At transponder 207 the noise is at
such a level that it even influences the transponder signal. As a result it takes 9 x
8 ms until the transponder 207 is decoded (see Figure 8 on page 14). For the slow
crossing speed 0.5 m/s [140 mm / (33 x 8 m/s)] it is still sufficient for generating a
POSI Pulse
, but at high speed it would no longer be possible to decode this tran
-
sponder with 3 m/s.
