2) Remove battery cover.
3) Remove the old batteries.
4) Check battery compartment for damage to spring
contacts or corrosion on springs.
Caution:
Under no circumstances should rechargeable
batteries be fitted in place of Alkaline batteries.
5) Insert four new batteries observing correct polarity
indication in battery compartment base.
6) Replace battery cover and fasten base screws.
7) Check that the instrument switches on and works
to specification.
