Audio Systems
Your audio system has been designed to operate easily
and give years of listening pleasure. You will get the
most enjoyment out of it if you acquaint yourself with it
first. Find out what your audio system can do and how
to operate all its controls, to be sure you’re getting the
most out of the advanced engineering that went into it.
Setting the Clock for the AM-FM Stereo
Press and hold the DISP button. Press either of the up or
down tuning buttons to adjust the time. When the letter
A is on the display, use these buttons to set the alarm
time. See “Using the Alarm” later in this section.
With each press of the up tuning button, the hours move
from 1 to 12.
With each press of the down tuning button, the minutes
move from 00 to 59.
Setting the Clock for the AM-FM Stereo
with Cassette Tape Player
Press and hold the AM FM button. Press the
H (downward arrow) button to advance the hours. Press
the M (upward arrow) button to advance the minutes.
AM-FM Stereo
Playing the Radio
ON/VOL: Press this knob to turn the radio on and off.
To increase volume, turn the knob clockwise. Turn it
counterclockwise to decrease volume.
DISP: With each press of this button, the display
alternates between the time, alarm status and radio
frequency. The display automatically returns to the clock
mode after a few seconds when the radio is on.
