UPON RECEIPT, INSPECT THE PRODUCT TO ENSURE THE ORIGINAL PACKING
MATERIAL IS INTACT AND THAT THE PRODUCT RELEASES EASILY FROM THE
PROTECTIVE SHEET
TO USE THE SPILL BERM:
1.
Ensure there is no debris in the area where the spill berm will be used. Large debris can
prevent a perfect seal from forming.
2.
Use proper PPE for the spill being handled.
3.
Place
the Spill Berm with the widest base down
to stick to the ground
. Surround the
spill on all sides to
contain it
4.
I
f longer lengths are needed
, connect the Spill Berms using the
connects on the ends.
Slide the slot into the cutout and ensure the connect is made all
the way down,
otherwise a seal will not form.
Le
aving the spill berm deployed will result in bonding to the surface it is on
. Removing the blocker from a
surface that it has bonded to will likely damage either the blocker
,
surface, or both.
