8 NETWORK SETTINGS
8.1 Configuring Basic Settings
To configure basic network settings: Enter the Network Settings menu by clicking Menu >
Configuration > Network Settings.
8.1.1 Static
Select
Static
under
General
tab. Fill in
IP Address, Subnet Mask, Default Gateway, Preferred
DNS Server, Server Port, HTTP Port.
Note:
The IP address can not be conflict with that of any other device. Every port, including the SERVER PORT,
HTTP PORT must be forwarded in the router. SEVER PORT is used for the CMS and Phone
Surveillance. To have access via internet through WAN, please be sure that your DNS SERVER has
been set correctly.
8.1.2 DHCP
Select
DHCP
in
Network Access,
and then click
OK.
Then please check the DHCP status in
Network Status
tab.
