Switch-on brightness
Brightness value
Memory value (brightness
prior to the last shut-off)
This parameter determines the brightness
value that the group is adjusted to each
time there is a switch-on via the “Switching”
or “Switching central function” object.
When switching on, the group will be
adjusted to the brightness value specified
in the drop-down menu next to the
parameter. The adjustable value must be
within the limits of the parameterized
maximum and minimum brightness.
When switching on, the brightness value
equals the one that was active and
internally stored prior to the switch-off (via
the “Switching” or “Switching central
function”). This memory value non-
permanently stored so that the value is pre-
defined to the maximum brightness after
the return of bus or mains voltage or after
programming with the ETS.
If the no Soft-on function is activated, the
brightness value will be activated when
switching on.
Behaviour after ETS
programming
Switch-off
Brightness value
No change
The Gateway permits to separately set the
brightness value for each group after
programming with the ETS.
The group will be switched off.
The group will be adjusted to the
brightness value specified in the drop-down
menu next to the parameter. The
adjustable value is restricted by the
parameterized minimum and maximum
brightness.
After the ETS programming, the DALI
devices of a group will show not response
and keep the current brightness value or
remain switched off.
The parameterized behaviour will be
executed after every application or
parameter download by the ETS. A
simple download of the physical address
alone or partial programming of only the
group addresses has the effect that this
parameter is disregarded and that the
parameterized "Response to bus voltage
return" will be executed
