Operator manual

3.2

Normal operation

The (motorized) door opening is performed automatically via impulse generator or ma-

nually by means of a push-button. The door is automatically closed (by means of spring

pressure) as soon as the programmed hold-open time has expired. The damping unit

added to the motor ensures a controlled closing.

3.3

Function in the event of a mains failure

Normally the door wing is closed from any position by means of spring power. The dam-

ping unit added to the motor ensures a controlled closing.

However, an opening can be achieved by a simple transformation. In this case, the door

wing is opened from any position by means of spring power and remains in the OPEN

position until the mains supply has been restored.

3.4

Motorized closing

Normally the door wing is closed (by means of spring power) upon expiration of the pro-

grammed hold-open time. If for some reasons the spring power is not sufficient for closing

the door wing, the latter can be closed by the motor (in this case it is recommended to

install the appropriate safety elements).

3.5

Automatic closing sequence control

For bi-parting swing doors, two completely separate F4 swing door drive mechanisms are

used, which are electrically connected to each other.
