The user interface
Once you have configured the network settings on a PC in your local network, you can
then use that PC to configure the Gigaset SE505 dsl/cable with the router's user inter-
face. The Gigaset SE505 dsl/cable can be configured using any browser that supports
Java, e.g. Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher, Netscape Communicator 6.2 or
higher.
Launching the user interface
To access the Gigaset SE505 dsl/cable's user interface:

Launch your Web browser.

Enter the router IP address in the Web browser address bar.

You will then see a login window:

Click on
LOGIN
(the default is no password).

Please note that the settings on your browser must allow popups to be
displayed. In addition, no proxy can be configured in the browser.
If working with Windows XP SP2, popups are blocked by default. This set-
ting can be deactivated using Internet Explorer:
