You can only delete new messages once the
time stamp has been played back along with
the first few seconds of the message.
Accepting a call from the
answering machine
You can pick up a call while the answering
machine is recording or is being operated
via remote operation:

Pick up the receiver, press the
handsfree key or display key.
Recording stops and you can speak to the
caller.
If three seconds of the message have already
been recorded when you accept the call, the
message is saved. The
f
key flashes.
You can answer the call, even if it is not sig-
nalled.
Diverting an external call to the
answering machine
You can divert an incoming external call to
the answering machine.
Prerequisite:
An external call is signalled on
the base, the answering machine is switched
on:

Select display key.
The answering machine starts immediately
in answer & record mode and records the
call. The set time for ring delay
is ignored.
Activating/deactivating two-way
record
You can record an
external
call with the
answering machine.
Prerequisite:
You are conducting an external call:

Inform the caller that the call is being
recorded.

Select and press

Two-way record is indicated on the display
by an advisory text and is added to the
answering machine list as a new message.

Press the display key to stop
two-way record.
The maximum recording time depends on
the memory available on the answering
machine. If the memory is full, you will hear
an end tone, the recording is aborted, and
the call recorded up to that point is listed in
the answering machine list as a new mes-
sage.
