Battery Installation and Information
Before using the Light Pen for the first time, install 2 AG13/LR44 batteries as
shown in the diagram. Remove the pen tip by turning it in a counterclockwise
direction. Use a screwdriver to remove the screw. Remove the battery cover.
Insert 2 AG13/LR44 batteries following the directions in the battery compartment.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard
(carbon zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
• Do not recharge nonrechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before recharging.
• Only charge rechargeable batteries under adult supervision.
• Only use batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
• Insert batteries with the correct polarity.
• Remove exhausted batteries from the unit.
• Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
• To prevent corrosion and possible damage to the product,
we recommend removing the batteries from the unit if it will
not be used for more than two weeks.
Replace the battery cover. Use a screwdriver to secure it, then replace the pen tip.
