Receiver and transformer
Prerequisite for a safe operation is the observance of all safety
instructions given in this manual. Local work safety rules and
general safety regulations are applicable for the use of the
product. If not available, a 230 V socket must be installed by a qualifi ed
electrician. Before installing the receiver, disconnect the garage door from
the mains.
The transformer must be plugged into a 220 V/16 A domestic power socket, which
must not be more than 2 metres from the receiver, so that the cable of the transfor-
mer can be connected to the connecting terminals of the receiver.
1. Attach the receiver with at least 2 of the 4 holes which are located under the
cover.
2. Connect the transformer cable to the terminals „Input AC/DC“ on the
circuit board (see illustration below). Tighten terminals fi rmly.
3. Search for the connection on your drive for a wall button/key switch and connect
these terminals to the connections 1+2 (channel Out-A) or 3+4 (channel Out-B)
of the receiver. You can also connect the connections from the receiver parallel
to a possibly existing wall button/key switch. For this, refer to the operating
instructions of your drive in any case.
4. Plug in the transformer and switch the power back on. You can use the
Command key (test) for operating your garage door opener/s
INSTALLATION
The receiver should be installed in the garage as far as
possible towards the front, preferably 2 metres above the
ground. Select a point where there is suffi cient space
for opening the cover and the antenna (as far away as
possible from metal structures). The receiver and the
antenna use TV coaxial connectors of type F.
The antenna is screwed directly onto to the receiver.

The voltage peaks at the terminals „output voltage“ must not be
higher than 42.4 V.
SETTING THE SWITCHING PULSE
In the most common case, the respective control needs only a short switching
pulse to start the drive. Many drives need here a longer switching pulse or even
a dead man function, when the control contact must be closed during the entire
door movement.
The PR433-4 can therefore be separately set either for constant or short closing
of the output contacts and thereby for both channels. Upon delivery, the jumper is
plugged on „short pulse“.
If the jumper is plugged in position „1“ (= short pulse),
close contacts, regardless of the radio transmission
150 ms long.
If the jumper is inserted in position „2“ (= constant si-
gnal), keep the contacts closed for the entire duration
of the transmitter actuation (dead man).

Example for a programming of the receiver/equalisation with the transmitter
in the vehicle
Before you can use your HomeLink system, your receiver has to
learn the transmitter code. Park your vehicle about 3 metres away
from the receiver (not under the door, as it could be operated during
the programming process).
Then perform the following steps:
1. Press and hold all 3 transmitter buttons simultaneously for
30 seconds in your car. (The HomeLink indicator light glows
for 20 seconds, fl ashes for another 10 seconds and then
goes out.)
2. Release all 3 buttons when the HomeLink indicator light turns off.
3. Go to the receiver, open the lid, press the programming button (Learn A) for
Channel A, and release it. The indicator light for channel A then glows for 30
seconds.
4. Go back to your vehicle and press the selected transmitter button at least 2-3
times in a row within 30 seconds. Indicator light on receiver goes out.
Your receiver now knows the code of the relevant transmitter button. You can
test this by pressing the HomeLink button. If the door does not move, you
should make sure that the transmitter indicator light is switched off before you
repeat the above steps.
Repeat steps 1-4 to programme the receiver to all transmitter buttons/vehicles
that are in use for this door. If you have a second door in use, select a different
transmitter button and repeat the above steps for channel B.
Attach the cover again with the screws.
You can thus erase all codes:
Press and hold the programming button (Learn
A or B Learn or both) of the receiver until the indicator light turns off after about 6
seconds. All learned codes are now erased.
PLEASE NOTE: The programming of the receiver refers to the most
common HomeLink integrations. There are also, depending on the vehicle
model, those that need to be programmed differently. For details on YOUR
