The GEN series mainframes come with an optional 1 Gbit optical network
support in the form of an SFP module.
Standard the SFP receiver housing is part of the mainframe. Inserting a SFP
module enables the use of optical Ethernet. The SFP is offered using two
different wavelengths: 850 nm or 1320 nm.
