GENERAL
This User’s Manual has been drawn up in accordance with:
Technical requirements for equipment and protective systems
intended
for
use
in
potentially
explosive
atmospheres
(2014/34/EU).
Technical requirements for products from the point of their
electromagnetic compatibility
(2014/30/EU).
SAFETY GUIDELINES AND IMPROPER USE
Do not leave this User’s Manual in the switchgear box during
operation!
•
Do not operate
X450DA2/d
switchgears in SNM
mine areas
(SNM3)
according to ČBÚ Decree No.
22/1989 Coll.,
or in explosive atmospheres
(hazardous conditions 1)
according to ČSN EN 1127-2.
•
Do not operate X450DA2/d switchgears in Zone 0
explosive gas atmospheres (ČSN EN 60079-10-1) and
Zone 20 and 21 explosive dust atmospheres (ČSN EN
60079-10-2)
•
The cable glands must always be in the
Ex “d”
design
(flame-proof enclosure) according to ČSN EN 60079-1
•
In the case of cable entry through cable glands with a
sealing ring
, only use
compact
and
round
cables with
sheathing made of
thermoplastic
,
thermoset
or
elastomeric materials
. The bedding and sheathing
must be
extruded
and the bedding material, if used,
non-absorbent. The
cable
must be at least
3 m long
!
•
There may be
parts with hot surfaces, i.e.
hazardous temperature inside
the X450DA2/d
switchgear.
Open the switchgear only in the
absence of explosive atmospheres and in a non-
voltage state after a sufficient time since its
deactivation
to allow the hot parts to cool.
•
X450DA2/d switchgears are not designed for non-
professional use.
Installation, start up and any service
whatsoever must be performed by workers with
professional expertise and in conformance with safety
regulations.
•
Operate
X450DA2/d switchgears in accordance with
the following operating conditions, technical and label
data.
•
Do not replace the existing internal equipment of
the switchgear with equipment inconsistent with
the documentation supplied with the product
(e.g.
replacement of an existing 6A circuit breaker with a
10A circuit breaker).
•
If the switchgear contains a
current protector
,
regularly verify their function at least every 6
months
using the test button (while observing
applicable safety regulations).
•
Some
mining cables (e.g. type CBEH)
have individual
wires provided with a semi-conductive removable layer.
Always remove this layer
before connecting the
wires!
•
Switching and protective devices inside switchgears
may
produce
short-term
electromagnetic
interference
and therefore have to be used in
industrial zones, where they do not have a negative
impact on other equipment.
•
Carry out storage, transport, assembly, installation,
revision and preventive maintenance, repairs and
service in accordance with the instructions stated
hereunder.
1. USE
