detaching the clamp connections (43, 46) by supplying the actuator (A) with
compressed air.

Before starting any maintenance, servicing or repair work, disconnect the
valve from the power supply and secure it against inadvertently being
switched back on again.
•
Only allow a qualified electrician to carry out any work on the electrical power
supply.
•
Check the electrical equipment of the valve at regular intervals. Immediately
remedy loose connections and molten cables.
•
If work on live parts cannot be avoided, call in a second person, who can
operate the main switch in case of an emergency.
•
The housing sockets have very sharp edges. When transporting and installing
the valve be sure to wear suitable protective gloves.
