Maintenance
Prior to Disassembly
Maintenance Intervals
To ensure the highest operational reliability of the valves, all wearing parts should be
replaced at longer intervals.
The actual maintenance intervals can only be determined by the user since they depend
on the operating conditions, for instance:
•
daily period of use,
•
switching frequency,
•
type and temperature of the product,
•
type and temperature of the cleaning solution,
•
ambient conditions.
Prior to Disassembly
Requirement:
Make sure that during maintenance and repair work no process is in operation in the
area concerned.
Carry out the following steps:
1.
Drain all pipe system elements that lead to the valve and, if necessary, clean or rinse
them.
2.
Shut off the control air supply.
3.
Disconnect the power supply.
4.
Detach the pipe connection of the valve.
