Adjusting the initiator

Carry out the following steps:
1.
Bring the valve to the lower end position
®
Spring-opening valve (NO)
Pressurize the actuator with compressed air, max. 8 bar.
®
Spring-closing valve (NC)
Depressurise the actuator.
2.
Release the lock nut (3) and unscrew the nuts (4) if required.
3.
Position the centre axis of the initiator (1.1) over the switching edge (6).
4.
Set distance (a) between the initiator (1.1) and the head of the switch bar (5)
to 0.5 to 1.5 mm using the nut (4), so that the LED (1.2) lights up.
5.
Tighten the lock nut (3).
6.
Charge and vent the actuator to check the feedback of the lower end position.
®
The LED (1.2) is lit in the lower end position and goes out as soon as the
valve disk is raised.
